Not much to report as I seem to have picked up some sort of stomach bug. I’ll spare you the details, but being ill reminds me to what extent our life style relies on being fit and healthy. The work load isn’t even heavy at the moment due to the time of year, but simply swinging the scythe and feeding the menagerie seemed a near impossible task this morning.
There is talk of boar on the neighbouring farm, but I’m not convinced. A young lad reported having heard crashing and squealing in the woods whilst out lamping with his air gun, but I can see no tracks or signs. Boar are not subtle creatures and if they are around, one tends to know about it.
